June Randall, Continuity Supervisor, talks about her work on The Shining. She discusses her frustration working with actor Scatman Crothers, as well as Stanley Kubrick’s loyalty to his crew.
June was a fixture on the set of several of Kubrick’s films, including Barry Lyndon and A Clockwork Orange. She can be seen quite often in Vivian Kubrick’s documentary, The Making of The Shining.
Recorded as part of “Kubrick Visions” - a series of oral history interviews with key people who worked with Stanley Kubrick. The success of these filming sessions led to The Elstree Project.
